Two Maine based mixed martial arts fighters will be competing for gold at the next New England Fights card in November.

Justin Witham of Dexter will be looking to take home the title for Shatterproof Combat Club in the Amateur Ranks at 125 pounds.  His opponent will be undefeated former Mountain Valley High School wrestler Nate Boucher.

Witham is 3-4 in his career, but on a two fight win streak after besting Connor Murphy in June of 2016, and then following up with a second round submission win against Ryan Burgess this past February.  Boucher, who trains with Central Maine Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, has won both of his fights, including the Bangor match-up earlier this month versus Jeremiah Barkac.

The 125 amateur title is currently vacant and is the second announced fight on the card, with the other being James Blair out of American Top Team facing Portland’s Paul Gorman.
