Naamans Little League of Wilmington, Delaware are Senior League East Regional champs for a second straight year. A 9-8 extra inning over Pennsylvania in the title game at Mansfield Stadium in Bangor.

Delaware heads to Easley, South Carolina for the Senior League World Series.

The team from Elk-Mckean, Pennslyvania was trying to run the table after losing their tournament opener last Thursday and when they scored seven runs in the first inning it looked like they might force a winner-take-all if necessary game.

But Delaware chipped away and eventually got the game tied in the 7th inning at 7-7.

In the 8th, Delaware's Johnny Pfander ripped a two run single to take the 9-7 lead.

Pennsylvania answered with one run on the bottom of the 8th but came up short.

Delaware finished East Regional play at 6-0. Pennsylvania's only two losses were to the Delaware team.
