Five CAA Teams In Preseason Top-25 List

Five Colonial Athletics Association teams were listed in the preseason FCS Top-25 list released Tuesday by Athlon Sports.

The Maine Black Bears were not picked for the Top-25 or as a team to watch by the publication.  The Black Bears finished with a 6-5 overall and had a 5-3 conference mark in 2016.  Wofford, the school where Brewer’s Austin Lufkin will play this upcoming season, was picked 10^th in the poll.

Maine will begin the season with a conference clash against New Hampshire on August 31^st.  They are also set to play James Madison, Villanova, Rhode Island, Albany, William & Mary, Delaware, and Stony Brook in conference play in 2017.
