Former Washburn High School 2,000 point scorer Mitch Worcester will be a Husson Eagle in the fall and will play hoops for coach Warren Caruso. Worcester spent the past year at UMaine.

In his four years at Washburn HS, Worcester scored 2,297 points and was a finalist for the Mr. Basketball Award in 2013.

The 6-3 guard wanted to test his basketball skills at Division-1 and was a walk-on player last season for the Black Bears. He did not see any game action.

He will attend Husson University in the fall and will have four years of basketball eligibility.
