Harasymiak Name CAA Coach of the Year

The awards keep pouring in for UMaine football Joe Harasymiak - today named the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Coach of the Year.

The Black Bears placed four players on the First Team All-Conference squad.

Earnest Edwards was selected to the First Team as a kick returner and was named Second Team as a wide receiver.

2018 Offensive Player of the Year: Tom Flacco, Towson

2018 Defensive Player of the Year: Jimmy Moreland, James Madison

2018 Coach of the Year: Joe Harasymiak, Maine

2018 Special Teams Player of the Year: Shane Simpson, Towson

2018 Offensive Rookie of the Year: Jaylan Thomas, Elon

2018 Defensive Rookie of the Year: Christian Benford, Villanova

2018 Chuck Boone Leadership and Excellence Award: Chris Infantino, Stony Brook

UMaine First Team selections: DL Kayon Whitaker, LB Sterling Sheffield,CB Manny Patterson, KR Earnest Edwards

UMaine Second Team selections: WR Earnest Edwards, TE Drew Belcher, OL Liam Dobson, DL Charles Mitchell, LB Deshawn Stevens, Spec Mozai Nelson

UMaine Third Team selections: WR Micah Wright, OL Cody Levy
