High School Teams Hit The Gridiron

Maine high school football teams will take another step toward opening night with exhbition games tonight and tomorrow. Regular season play begins next Friday.

The MPA allows the controlled scrimmages played on Monday and then the next step allows for preseason games either tonight or Saturday.

NOTE:  Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket kicks off live coverage of high school football with a prime time special next Thursday night(Sept. 4th) at 7pm. The show will include special features on the 2014 season. The NFL season opener featuring Green Bay at Seattle follows the Kickoff Special at 8pm.
