HS Semi-Finals Recap

The Messalonskee Eagles baseball team did it again. After losing to Hampden twice in the regular season, they win the playoff game, 7-2 in the Saturday night semi-final.

Messalonskee did the same thing to Bangor in the quarter-final round earlier in the week. The Eagles will meet Oxford Hills in the Eastern Maine title game. The Vikings beat Cony 11-6.

The Class A softball is set. Bangor pulled another upset by beating Oxford Hills, Skowhegan upset #1 Brewer 5-2 Saturday night. The Rams and Indians play for the Eastern Maine A title.

Class B baseball....Waterville beat MDI 1-0 and Winslow took down Foxcroft 4-0 and that means the Panthers and Raiders play for the Class B crown.

Most other semi-final games got postponed because of the weather and will be played on Monday.
