Husson’s Smith Wins NAC Player of Week

The Husson Eagles sweep NAC weekly award honors. Olivia Smith and Jen Jones for softball. Sam Huston and Logan Rogerson for baseball.

NAC Softball: Smith wins Player of the Week for hitting .538 (7-for-13) in a week that saw the Eagles go 4-0 in conference play. Smith had four RBI and scored three times.

Freshman Jen Jones is both Pitcher of the Week and Rookie of the Week for her efforts. She had a four-hit shutout win with 10 strikeouts. Jones also went 4-for-5 with three RBI at the plate.

NAC Baseball: Sam Huston is wins Player of the Week as the Eagles played seven games last week (4-3, 4-2 NAC). Huston .421 (8-for-19). He had 10 RBI and scored eight times.

SS Logan Rogerson is Rookie of the Week. He hit .462 (12-for-26) and scored 11 runs. Rogerson drove in three runs.
