Lee Wins High School Athlete Of The Week

Colby Lee of MDI High School has won our McDonald’s High School Athlete of the Week with 40-percent of the total vote over Adam Bertrand of MCI, Sydney Allen of Central High School, Austin Pelletier of Messalonskee High School, and Gavin Matthieu of Brewer High School.

The MDI running back had a great week for the Trojans in their 43-22 victory versus Bucksport.  Lee rushed 21 times and had 288 yards on the ground, including four touchdowns.  He also chipped in with a reception for five yards and recorded an interception too.  The MDI side is now 2-1 on the season after the win and will face Hermon on Friday night.

Lee took home the vote with over 1,200 submissions this past week.
