The Maine Black Bear's Soccer Team beat UNH 2-1 on Sunday November 2nd at the New Balance Soccer Complex to advance to the America East semifinals.

UNH took a 1-0 lead on a goal by Shya Walker, assisted by Abbi Maier with 5:58 remaining in the 1st Half.

Maine wasted no time tying the score, as Jordan Pinette scored her 2nd goal of the season just 1 minute into the 2nd Half. Her goal was assisted by Julie Lossius.

With 23:30 left, Gillian Rovers scored the game-winner, assisted by Madison Michaud.

Maine outshot UNH 21-10 and had a 9-4 shots-on-goal advantage. Maine had 5 corners compared to UNH's 2.

UNH finishes the season with a 4-6 record and 2-2-4 in America East.

Maine improves to 5-7-3 overall and 3-3-2 in America East.

The Black Bears travel to top-seeded Binghamton on Thursday, November 5th at 5 p.m. in New York.
