Two of the top 14 teams in the country in women's Division III hoops reside here in Maine. The Bowdoin Polar Bears will spend another week as #1 in the nation. St. Joseph's College moves up to #14 in the poll.

NOTES: In the Division II ranks, Bentley women's basketball has climbed to #5 in the nation with last year's Miss Maine Basketball, Kolleen Bouchard (Houlton HS), averaging about 7 PPG and averaging about 20 minutes per game...The UMaine Black Bears women's team is ranked #12 in the nation the WBCA Mid-Major Poll.
