Meader Wins 500th College Game
Longtime UMaine Farmington basketball coach Dick Meader joined the 500 win club Friday night with his team's 83-51 victory of NVU-Lyndon.
Meader is in his 26th year as Beavers head coach. He spent 17 seasons as Thomas College head coach.
UMF is 9-3 (3-0 NAC) so far this season. The Beavers play NVU-Lyndon again today.
Meader is a member of the UMF Athletics Hall of Fame and a Class of 2015 inductee into the Maine Basketball Hall of Fame.
