MPA Postpones Class AA Games In Augusta

The Maine Principals' Association has moved today's Class AA North quarterfinal round games in Augusta to tomorrow because of the impending storm.

That means the Bangor girls game vs Cheverus is moved to tomorrow (Thursday) and will have a new start time of 4pm. Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket and 929theticket.com will have live coverage of the game.

Both girls and boys Class AA North quarterfinal games will be played tomorrow. Here is the new schedule...

5:30 pm           Girls     Deering vs Lewiston

7:00 pm           Boys     Cheverus vs Oxford Hills

8:30 pm           Boys     Deering vs Windham

4:15 pm           Girls     Maine Girls Academy vs Sanford

6:00 pm           Boys     Bonney Eagle vs Scarborough

8:00 pm           Boys     Sanford vs Gorham

Friday, February 17, 2017, Portland Expo

4:15 pm           Girls     Scarborough  vs Thornton

6:00 pm           Boys Class A    York vs Westbrook

8:00 pm           Boys Class A    Greely vs Kennebunk

NOTE: Other preliminary round games scheduled for today may still be played. The MPA says it is up to each school to make that decision.
