The Husson Eagles stay unbeaten in North Atlantic Conference play, on both the men's and women's side after a sweep of UMaine Presque Isle Saturday afternoon.

Husson Men 71  UMPI 63:  After gettind down 5-0 to start the game, the Eagles went on a 9-0 run to get the lead and keep t.

It did get tight in the final five minutes.

The UMPI Owls closed a double-digit gap to just two points, 54-52, with 5:16 left in the game.

But the Eagles went on an 11-2 run to put the game away.

Justin Thompson scored 16 and Corey Kaiser had 15 to lead Husson. Scott Lewis added 10 points and seven rebounds.

DeAndre Duncombe had 19 to lead UMPI.

The Eagles are 4-0 in the NAC (6-7 overall). The Owls are 0-4 and 4-8.

Husson Women 91  UMPI 60:  The Eagles jumped out to a 19-4 start, led 31-7 after one quarter and kept the Owls at arm's length all day.

Freshman center Bailey Donovan had another double-double day, 20 points and 11 rebounds. Sydney Allen added 18 points. 10 different players scored points for Husson.

UMPI was led by Marissa Reagle with 14 and Sarah Musselman with 13.

The Eagles improve to 4-0 in the NAC and 6-7 overall. The Owls drop to 0-4 and 2-10.
