Peach Is First Time NAC Player of Week
Husson Eagles sophomore center Megan Peach has been named North Atlantic Conference Player of the Week for her efforts in a loss to top-ranked Bowdoin and a win over Maine Maritime Academy.
Peach had a double-double vs the Polar Bears with 10 points and 10 rebounds. She also had two blocks.
In Friday's win over MMA, Peach had 11 rebounds and four blocks.
Peach is seeing more minutes for the (8-6, 5-0) Eagles with the knee injury to Eagles center Sami Ireland.
It's the first time Peach has been named conference Player of the Week.
NOTE: The Eagles play a non-conference game at the University of Southern Maine tonight before returning to NAC play Friday and Saturday vs SUNY-Canton. Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket has live coverage of the Saturday men's/women's doubleheader starting at 1pm.
