Regional Title Day On 92.9 The Ticket

Can Bangor four-peat Class A North? Orono vs Dexter renew their healthy sports rivalry. What about the battle of softball undefeated teams Mattanawcook Academy and Bucksport.

Just some of the storylines today as Class A and Class C baseball and softball teams compete for regional titles today.

Live coverage on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket and 929theticket.com begins at 5pm from Morton Field in Augusta. #4 seed Bangor baseball meets #7 seed Mt. Ararat for the Class A title. The Rams are trying to win a fourth consecutive regional title. The Eagles haven't won a regional title since the Mark Rogers era of 2004 and 2005.

Following the Bangor/Mt. A game, 92.9 Ticket will swing coverage to Mansfield Stadium in Bangor as #3 Orono meets #5 Dexter for the Class C North championship. Several players on both teams began the 2016-17 school year will a playoff battle on the football field back in the fall.
