Shaw Wins, Theriault 6th At Spud Speedway
While many eyes were on hometown driver Austin Theriault, New Hampshire's DJ Shaw took the checkered flag at Spud Speedway in Caribou Sunday afternoon in the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) FIrecracker 200 Race.
Shaw is the current points leader and a two-time winner in the PASS Series this season.
For Fort Kent's Theriault, it was a sixth place finish on the track where he got his start in racing. His appearance in the race brought out a big turnout for the race.
Theriault was coming off his first two NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series racing, driving for Rick Ware Racing. There is a chance he'll race again this Sunday in the Cup race at Michigan this Sunday.
