Husson University's Jen Jones threw a five inning perfect game while Morgan Coleman pounded a grand slam and the Eagles win the North Atlantic Conference championship with an 9-0 win over Thomas College.

The conference title sends Husson to the NCAA Tournament with the selection show to see who and where they play will be announced.

The (24-9) Eagles dominated the Terriers in the championship game, scoring three unearned runs in the 2nd inning. In the 4th inning, tourney MVP Olivia Smith belted a grand slam to up the lead to 7-0. And then in the 5th, Smith ripped a two-run single to end the game under the eight run mercy rule in college softball.

In the circle, Jen Jones faced 15 batters and recorded 15 outs. No hits, no walks and she struck out four. Jones threw 64 pitches to get her 13th win of the year.

Jones, Arika Brochu and Coleman were named to the All-Tourney team with Smith winning MVP.
