The PVC Small School Track and Field Championships were held Saturday, May 27th at the Brewer Community School. When all was said and done, the Orono Boy's and Bucksport Girl's won the Team Championships. 3 Records were broken. Here are the team and individual results.

Congratulations to the Maine Baseball Team who won the America East Championship on Saturday, with a 6-1 victory over Binghamton in the championship game. They advance to the NCAA Regionals for the 1st Time Since 2011

The Nokomis Warriors stayed unbeaten, but it took 10 innings on Friday. The game was scoreless after 7 innings, and remained scoreless into the 8 and 9th innings. Finally Nokomis scored 4 runs in the top of the 10th. Lawrence answered with 1 in the bottom of the inning, and the Warriors came away unbeaten.

Braelynn Wilcox tossed a 1-hitter and the Hermon Hawks beat the John Bapst Crusaders, 12-0 in a 5 inning, run-ruled game. The Hawks scored 10 runs, batting around in the 4th inning.

The PVC Large School Championships were held Friday afternoon, May 27th at MDI High School in Bar Harbor. After all the running, jumping and throwing the Bangor Girl's and Boy's Track and Field Teams were the PVC Large School Champions. Special congratulations to Bangor's Anna Connors who set 2 new PVC Records and MDI's Miles Burr who set 3 new PVC Records.

The Hermon Hawks plated 4 runs in the bottom of the 1st inning, and added 2 in the bottom of the 3rd and then hung on to beat the Ellsworth Eagles who rallied just a bit too late, winning 6-5 in Hermon on Thursday, May 25th.

Freshman Dawson Curtis struck out 13, going the distance as the Ellsworth Eagles beat the George Stevens Eagles in the Battle of the Eagles on Wednesday, May 24th at Ellsworth High School.

The Searsport Vikings beat the Sumner Tigers 7-1 on Wednesday, May 24th, scoring 3 runs in the 1st and 3rd innings.

In the Battle of Eagles the Ellsworth Eagles shutout the George Stevens Academy Eagles 4-0 on Wednesday, May 24th in Ellsworth. Check out the recap and photos from the game
