The History Of The Ryder Cup [VIDEO]

24 of the best golfers in the world, 12 from the United States and 12 from Europe, have gathered in Paris, France for the 2018 Ryder Cup. At stake, golf's bragging rights for the next two years.

This event is the ultimate in team golf with two days of four-ball team match play and eventually it comes down to head-to-head match play on Sunday.

Each match is worth one point. The first team to 14 points wins the Ryder Cup.

Over the years, the U-S holds a 26-13-2 record but an American team hasn't won on European soil since 1993.
