Thibodeau, Sargent, Ryan Get Weekly Awards
Husson University baseball player Pat Thibodeau and softball player Lona Sargent have been named North Atlantic Conference Players of the Week.Thibodeau batted .516 while driving in 9 runs and scoring 12 to help the Eagles post a 5-2 record. Thibodeau was also 11-11 in stolen bases.
Sargent helped her team win the NAC regular season championship. The senior outfielder hit .531 with 11 rbi's and 10 runs scored to go along with 6 stolen bases.
Amanda Ryan received Pitcher of the Week honors after going 5-0 with 15 strikeouts while not allowing a single run.
The Husson softball team will host Johnson State in a quarterfinal game Tuesday.
