Track & Field Title Day

It doesn't happen often but the MDI High School boys and York High School boys track & field teams finished in a tie for first place in the Class B State Championship meet in Dover-Foxcroft.

MDI and York both finished with 86 points.

CLASS B BOYS:  1) MDI, York  3) Brewer  4) Hermon

CLASS B GIRLS:  1) Greely  2) York  3) Belfast  3) Cony

CLASS C BOYS:   1) Caribou  2) Wells  3) Traip  4) Orono

CLASS C GIRLS:   1) Maranacook  2) Orono  3) Monmouth  4) Wells

The Class A meet was held in Bath and the Falmouth HS and Thornton Academy boys tied for the state title. Cheverus HS won the girls title.
