The top-seed and undefeated Hermon Hawks ran past the Belfast Lions Saturday night to earn a spot in the Class B semifinals.

The Hawks put on a dominant performance, cruising past the No. 9 Lions 67-40 at the Cross Insurance Center.

It was a balanced scoring attack for Hermon. Jacob Godfrey had 15 points to lead the Hawks. Isaac Varney had 12 points. Cody Hawes and Keenan Marseille each added 10 points.

Marseille dunked the ball three times -- including one emphatic two-handed jam -- in the first quarter to set the tone for the evening.

In the loss, Stanley Sturgess had 13 for the Lions, who finish the season at 9-11.

Hermon (19-0) moves on to play No. 4 Winslow at 8:35 p.m. on Wednesday in Bangor.
