WEEK 10: Who is the High School Athlete of the Week? [VOTE]
Week 10 of the high school sports season is in the books. There were some great postseason performances and you can vote for any one of four nominated student athletes.
Bucksport HS Sophomore Josh Miller: rushed for 304 yards in the Golden Bucks semi-final playoff win over Foxcroft Academy. Miller scored on TD runs of 77 and 29 yards. He is now over 1,000 yards for the season.
Camden Hills HS Senior Kris Kelly: scored the lone goal in the regional 1-0 win over Bangor and then scored a goal in the Windjammers win over Scarborough in the state championship game. She finishes her career with 159 goals and part of a current 65 game unbeaten streak by the Windjammers.
Winslow QB Colby Pomeroy: led his Black Raiders to a semi-final win over Hermon in Class C North. He threw four touchdown passes as part of his 123 yards throwing the ball. Winslow plays MCI for the regional title this week.
Central Aroostook HS Bryan Anthony: scored two goals in the final six minutes of the state championship game to give the Panthers a 2-1 win over NYA and give his school its first boys state title in soccer. CAHS finished unbeaten at 15-0-3.
