Who, Where Will UMaine Play?

As NCAA Selection Monday draws near for the UMaine women's basketball team, who will the Black Bears play and where? Here's the latest...

Keep in mind, all of the automatic qualifiers are set. Maine, as the America East Conference champ, is in the field. So too are 31 other teams winning conference titles. The rest of the field is made up of at-large spots.

There are several bracketology projection site out there so here's what they are saying at the moment...

ESPN's Charlie Creme: He has UMaine as a #13 seed and heading to Ames, Iowa to play the #4 see Iowa State from the Big 12.

RealTimeRPI.com: This projection has the Black Bears as a #13 seed and travelling to meet #4 South Carolina out of the SEC.

CollegeSportsMadness: This site projects Maine as a #14 seed and going to #3 Iowa from the Big 10. The Hawkeyes have one of the top candidates for Player of the Year in Megan Gustafson.
