14 Hit Attack Leads Cony To Win

In a match up of the the top two teams in Eastern Maine class A the Cony Rams handed #1 Brewer their first loss 10-4.Cony struck early scoring 4 runs in the first inning allowing starting pitcher Sonja Morse to settle in. Morse allowed just 4 hits while striking out 10 and walking just 2.

Alexa Grindle had a 3-run triple for Brewer in the loss while Morgan Small added a solo homerun.

Both teams finish with 15-1 records but Brewer will be the #1 seed in the playoffs.
