Brewer Goes Back-To-Back

Make it back-to-back state titles for Brewer softball. A 7-1 win over York in the Class B title game played at St. Joseph's College in Standish.

Libby Hewes fired a five-hitter in the circle. Kenzie Dore hit a three-run home run.

Coach Skip Estes and his Witches finish 18-2 and are 38-2 over the past two seasons.

A young Madison softball team claimed the Class C state championship with a 7-1 victory over Dexter.

Laurie Leblanc and Brooke McKenney combined to pitch a five-hitter. Madison's big inning was the 5th when the Bulldogs scored four times.

Madison finishes 19-1. Dexter ends up 14-6.
