Brewer Meets Brunswick In Prelims

The high school baseball and softball playoffs begin today with the prelim round. Brewer baseball will play Brunswick at 6pm on the Ticket.Coach Dana Corey's Witches won their last two games over #4 Cony and #6 Messalonskee to make the playoff field. This will be the first meeting between the two teams this season and their comparatives are similar. They each score around 5 runs per game and allow and average of 6 per game. They also have eight common opponents with Brewer posting a 4-8 record in those games to Brunswick's 3-9 record.

Last season Brewer lost in the quarterfinals while Brunswick missed the playoffs.
