Courtney One Of 25 Starters Picked All American

UMaine pitcher Justin Courtney(Bangor HS) has been named a Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American.

Courtney finished his freshman season with a 5-6 record and a team leading ERA of 3,24 and 72.1 innings. He was named to the America East Conference All Rookie Team and and second team All Conference.

Courtney is one of 25 freshman starting pitchers from the Division 1 ranks around the country to be named to the Louisville Slugger team selected by Collegiate Baseball newspaper.
