Eagles Try To Keep ECFC Streak Going

The Husson Eagles will try to make it 20 straight ECFC conference wins Saturday afternoon when they host Anna Maria College (MA). Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket and 929theticket.com with live coverage at 1pm.

Coach Gabby Price and his Eagles are 3-0 in conference (4-2 overall).

Quarterback Cory Brandon is having a great senior season. 16 touchdowns, almost 1,400 yards and completing 65% of his passes.

Sophomore Miece Louriro and freshman Solomon Hassen handle most of the running duties. Both have around 500 rush yards.

Defensively, you can't run on the Eagles. Teams are averaging about 49 yards a game running the ball against Husson. That's 5th best in the nation. Price calls senior LB Elvin Suazo one of the best players ever at the school.

The (1-1, 1-5) Amcats of Anna Maria lost their first five games before scoring a conference win over Castleton. They are coming off a bye week.

Freshman QB Alex Cohen has thrown the ball for 850 yards and he's the Amcats second leading rusher.

NOTES: Gabby Price has coached the Eagles in two stints and this is his 12th overall season. Since returning to the program in 2013 his Eagles have a 31-4 record in the ECFC and a 39-14 overall record.
