The Endicott Gulls broke open a close game with 17 fourth quarter points and beat the Husson Eagles 41-16 in Commonwealth Coast Conference play in Bangor.

Endicott led by eight points with 12:45 to play and just over three minutes later the Gulls added 17 points to the scoreboard.

The surge began with a Nick DiCairano 41-yard field goal.

After an Eagles three-and-out, the Gulls completed a 49-yard scoring drive in less than two minutes.

On the next play for Husson, QB David Morrison was picked off and the Gulls turned that into seven more points. Morrison had two TD passes on the day but threw four interceptions.

Eagles RB Shawn Noel Jr. rushed 33 times for 104 yards.

The loss drops Husson to 2-2 in CCC play and 2-5 overall.

Endicott entered the game ranked #4 in New England and improved to 4-0 in the CCC and 6-1 overall.
