Falmouth LL AllStars Bristol Bound

The Falmouth Little League 11/12 allstars defeated Saco 13-10 to claim the 2014 state championship. Now Falmouth heads to Bristol, Connecticut for the New England Regional Tournament. The winner of that tournament will go to Williamsport, Pennsylvania and the LL World Series.

Falmouth won the winner-take-all game Friday afternoon at the state tournament site in Biddeford.

Saco LL was trying to win back-to-back Maine titles but came up short. Only four leagues have won two consecutive titles - Bangor East LL, Augusta LL and Portland North LL.

Falmouth won its District #6 title, then went 4-1 at the state tourney and now will take on the state of Connecticut champion next week in Bristol. That is a 6-team pool play event.
