UMaine sophomores Mitch Fossier and Chase Pearson are two of 74 college hockey players nominated on the 'Fan Vote' list for the Hobey Baker Award.

The award goes to the top college hockey player in Division I and past UMaine winners include Paul Kariya and Scott Pellerin.

Fossier and Pearson are both from Alpharetta, Georgia an are the top two point-getters for the Black Bears this season. Fossier has eight goals and 13 assists for 21 points. Pearson has three goals and 17 assists for 20 points.
