Hawks Win 2nd State Championship In 5 Years

The Hermon Hawks know about winning state championships after winning the gold glove in 2010. Saturday's 6-0 win over Wells showed they're here to stay.Sophomore Karli Theberge continued her dominant pitching by allowing just 6 hits, all singles while striking out 2.Theberge finished the season with back-to-back championship wins after beating undefeated Gardiner in the Eastern Maine final.

Senior catcher Shinia Haskell led the Hermon offense with three hits on the day. The Hawks finish the season 18-2 while Wells goes to 16-4.
