Hayes Wins Maine Mid-Am Title [SCORES]

Cape Elizabeth golfer John Hayes captured his first Mid-Amateur Championship Sunday afternoon, firing a 2-under par 70 on the final round at Fox Ridge GC.

Hayes won the Maine Amateur Championship in 2015 and the Downeast Classic title in 2017.

The Mid-Amateur tournament is for post-college golfers.

Hayes fired rounds of 72 and 70 for the 142 total score.
