HS Baseball: Rams Beat Witches 6-5

The Bangor Rams came back from a 3-0 deficit to scored six times in the late innings to beat the Brewer Witches 6-5 at Mansfield Stadium Friday night.

The win puts the Rams at 9-1 in Class A. The Witches are now 7-3 in Class B.

Trailing 3-0 after three innings, the Rams scored four times in the 5th inning. The big hit was a bases clearing triple by Tyler Parke. The Rams added two more in the 6th,

Zach Cowperthwaite worked the first six innings for Bangor to get the win.

The Witches scored two unearned runs off reliever Carson Prouty in the 7th inning but came up one run short.

Josiah Cyr went the distance for Brewer.

NOTE: The Brewer softball team beat Bangor 15-3 to move to 10-0 in Class B. Bangor falls to 3-6.
