The Husson University football team used the bye week to make a change at quarterback and it paid off as the Eagles beat Castleton State 34-3 on homecoming.Former Bangor High quaterback Joe Seccareccia who started the first three games at safety took over behind center and completed 12 of 17 passes for 160 yards and 2 touchdowns, one of them to former QB Ryan Stroud. The bulk of the offense came on the ground as the rushing game racked up 356 yards. Senior Byron Jackson led the way with 125 yards on 15 carries.

The Husson defense which has played well all season held the the Spartans offense to just 191 total yards.

Next week the Eagles go on the road to play Anna Maria College.
