The Maine Women's Hockey Team beat Holy Cross 2-1 on Friday night, November 14th for their 1st road win of the 2025-26 season.

All the scoring came in the 1st Period of the game.

Holy Cross took a 1-0 lead with 5:19 gone, but Maine answered just 27 seconds later when Brenna Curl found the back of the net, assisted by Stephanie Jacob.

Maine scored on a power play 2:32 later, scoring at the 7:18 mark. Lulu Rucinski scored, assisted by Paige Fong and Gracie Hanson.

Maine was 1-1 on the power play, while Holy Cross was 0-3.

Holy Cross outshot Maine 27-24.

Kiia Lahtinen picked up the win in net for Maine, turning away 26 shots.

Holy Cross is now 9-5-0 overall and 2-4-0 in Hockey East. Maine improves to 4-7-1 overall and 2-2-1 in Hockey East.

Maine and Holy Cross will conclude their weekend series on Saturday, November 15th at 5 p.m. The game will be available on ESPN+

Maine returns home to The Alfond on Friday, November 21st when they host Northeastern at 6 p.m. and then on Saturday, November 22nd at 4 p.m. also against the Huskies.
