Ouellette Signs With Flyers AHL Team
UMaine goalie Martin Ouellette has signed a contract to play for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, the AHL team of the Philadelphia Flyers.
Ouellette finished his UMaine career this past season with a 15-15-4 record and a GAA of 2.29.
Ouelllette is now one of seven goalies the Flyers have in their system, including Ray Emery and Steve Mason at the NHL level.
It will be the first year for the Lehigh Valley franchise as an AHL affiliate.
