Maine golfer Bailey Plourde gave back eight shots in today's second round of the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Tournament and now stands one shot behind the leader, tied for fourth place halfway through the tournament.

Plourde, from Newcastle, is a sophomore at Centre College in Kentucky. She's a three time schoolgirl champion in Maine and the 2018 Maine Women's Amateur champ.

She took a triple bogey on the 5th hole today and also had four bogies. Everything was a par and finished with a 7-over par 79.

Plourde's two-day total of 150 puts her at +6 for the tournament.

There's a three way tie for first place at +5.
