Road To 3-Peat Begins Today

The Bangor Rams baseball team has put together back-to-back state titles years. Now can the Rams make it three in a row? The season opener is today at 1pm and it's live on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket.

The only time Bangor has won three state baseball championships in a row is from 1994 to 1997 when the Rams won four straight.

The opening day opponent is Oxford Hills.

Bangor has a lot of returning pieces from last year's 18-2 team, in particular up the middle. Ace pitcher Trevor DeLaite, catcher Derek Fournier, shortstop Kyle Stevenson and centerfield Ryan Brookings.
