Seadogs Ace Owens Wins Again

Portland Seadogs lefty Henry Owens continues to dazzle and dominate the Eastern League. Saturday night Owens beat Akron 6-1 while pitching 6.2 innings of one run ball.

Owens won a league leading 8th game (8-3) and his ERA is 2.16.

He also set a new Seadogs franchise record with 27.2 innings of scoreless pitching. The old record was 24.
