
Smith, Price Collect Regional Awards
Husson University football coaches and players received their New England Football Writers All-New England honors at a banquet in Massachusetts last night.
After the Eagles historic 10-2 season and NCAA playoff win, the NEFW named RB John Smith the Golden Helmet Award winner, symbolic of the best Division II/III player in New England.
Gabby Price won the award for Division II/III New England Coach of the Year.
The Smith and Price awards are a first for the Husson football program.
Quan Soyini became the first Husson DB to make the All-New England Team since 2006.
