Lowell Scores Three in 3rd To Beat Bears
The UMaine hockey team dropped game 1 of their best of 3 series to UMass Lowell 4-2 on Thursday night.The game was tied at 1 after the first two periods but the River hawks scored 3 goals in the first 6:30 of the third to break it open and take a one game to none lead. Martin Ouellette stopped 32 shots for Maine in the loss.
Game 2 is tonight, a bears loss means the end of their season while a win will force game three on Sunday.
