For the second time this season, UMaine goalie Jeremy Swayman has garnered a weekly honor from the Hockey East conference.

On Monday morning the freshman goaltender was named the Hockey East Player of the Week.  Swayman picked up two wins in the weekend series over the Quinnipiac Bobcats in Connecticut, making 95 saves in total.

Swayman had been named the Hockey East Rookie of the Week on November 20th for his early season work and was also announced to the USA Junior National Team roster.  He will be competing to make a team that will be competing at the World Junior Championship in Buffalo, NY later this month.

On the season, Swayman is 7-3-1 with a 2.58 goals against average,  UMaine is 8-7-1 on the year and will be on a break until facing RPI on the road in late December.
